I was so worried about missing another Tuesday Teaser, but I see that as of 1 a.m. (my time) Miz B doesn't have her post up yet. So I feel marginally better about missing last week.....So this link is going to Miz B's website, where you will find her Tuesday Teaser Post soon. Take a look at her previous week's teaser post though - two sentences, teasing readers. We leave names and book titles, but try to stay away from spoilers (bad spoilers, spanking worthy bad to do)

from Magic On The Line by Devon Monk - a book I am (of course) thoroughly enjoying...
page 153
'It was like a punch to the gut. Terric, next to me, hissed.
"That can't be right," I whispered beneath notice with everyone else muttering in surprise.'
I know I've said this before, but I like - very much - everything that I've read by Devon Monk so far. This includes her wide variety of short stories in her anthology - A Cup Of Normal.page 81:
' "It'll be all right," I told him.
He yapped twice, disagreeing with me. I let that go. You just couldn't win an arguement with a Chihuahua.'
{Amen to that, sister} Now even though I absolutely LOVE every single book in the Sirantha Jax (romantic SciFi) series, I loved the first Corinne book, liked the second and so far I'm enjoying the hell out of this third Corinne book - proving that there are many, varied tastes out there and many novels for all of them - sometimes a nice variety just from one author. heehee.
Happy Reading
The Devon Monk books are still sitting my my TBR pile. My brother forced me to take the home a few months ago. You're teaser makes me really, really want to finally pick them up! But, sadly, bro refuses to let me read his books in the bathtub :'(
ReplyDeleteThe Ann Aguirre teaser just made me roar!! Are you enjoying that series? I think I should march myself over to our local Hastings and maybe buy one. Not that I don't have an already enormous TBR pile already!! *sheepish grin*
