I need to find and buy some books for this. Or Borrow. I believe I do have a few that will fit this challenge. I have a book by Marjorie M. Liu in my TBR. I also have a book by L. Banks that I tried to read, but I'm not into her books. I could force myself to read it, but I'd rather read something that interests me more. I have a book about a Native American shapeshifter written by Faith Hunter. This is the second in a series. The book I have is Blood Cross. I also have The Color Purple, which I did read many, many years ago. It's been so long it'll be like a new book again. It will also qualify for the Flashback challenge. Another book is Life isn't All Funny, Ha Ha Hee Hee by Meera Syal. I read it 8 years ago and enjoyed it a lot. There are some in my (mental) wish list that I would love to get, such as Bleeding Violet and Ash. We'll have to work on it.

Flashback Reading Challenge - 0/6 : (
I'm excited about taking part in these challenges. On the other hand, real life keeps getting in the way. I have grandchildren around more than usual and seem to spend a lot of time paying attention to my puppy and t.v. I do have a few books laying around that will give me a start on each of these challenges...Now I need to focus.

Colorful Reading Challenge - 0/9, but I have plans.....

  2. I'm banking on a lot of these being crossovers. Besides - I love to read. I do have a feeling that I might not achieve all the reading. But I work a school schedule, which gives me time on school holidays to read, though I usually end up sleeping! :)
