It's Monday....

Well, It's Monday again,...
I've been reading this weekend.
I finished Personal Demons by Stacia Kane (which goes to a reading challenge)
I'm almost finished with Three Days to Dead, by Kelly Meding (which goes to the same reading challenge as above)
I finished and reviewd Truly, Madly by Heather Webber. Very cute and fun book to read. Ms Webber also sent some bookmarks out. I love bookmarks, especially bookmarks from specific books. I collect them (nerd, nerd, nerd!)
Plans.....
To concentrate on the minichallenge for books by League of Reluctant Adults (two of the books listed above)
Also, to concentrate on the POC reading challenge. I find that I only own a few books that might qualify for this. One is by Marjorie M Liu, and another is by Faith Hunter, part of her Skinwalker series. I have an anthology by a Panamanian writer, that would count. In March I have big plans for buying books (I hope it works out - I also have big plans for buying bras {a necessity} and a new washer {another necessity}. Ugh! hate when real life gets in my way. One of the books I want to get is Ash, by Malinda Lo. I've been entering contests all over for it, but it's not panning out. I'll have to buy it. Another book that looks interesting for POC reading is Bleeding Violet. I'm also going to take a look at Reading In Color's recent reviews to see if anything catches my interest. I love her blog, Miss Attitude gives me new hope for the american teenager - when most teenagers come across as self absorbed (well a lot of us adults really are also), and just worried about where they're going to buy their clothes, make-up, video games, etc. it's a wonderful reminder that there are teens that care about all kinds of social issues and fellow citizens. And Miss Attitude takes the time to blog about her views as well as reviewing books. I know there are wonderful teens out there, we just don't hear much from or about them. Not as much as we should.
No other news, because I have a low-key life. Won an E-book from Black Velvet Seductions, but could not decide what to get. I asked the host to pick for me. Cop Out? maybe.
