Really - I seriously almost forgot to post this. Between an increase in pain in my arms and back; Showtime's free on Demand that seemed to shut down early on Sunday night; and Grandchildren having storytime and bedtime rituals, I seriously didn't even think about posting anything.
Not looking forward to going back to work after a very relaxing Winter (used to be Christmas) break - but time marches on, and must pay the rent.
Hosted by Sheila of Book Journey - here is where we get to see what others are reading, and share what we're reading or in my case NOT finishing.
sigh...

gave up on
both of these books
for similar and yet different reasons (does that make a lot of sense? nope)
Stardoc started out much more interesting and bogged down severely in the middle, and I don't feel like wasting anymore time on it - especially since this was my second attempt. Too bad, thought I would enjoy it.
Blood of Eden is a book I might return to - but in the first 100 pages I found quite a few inconsistancies - not in story ideas, but just in formatting or rather continuity. I don't even know if that's the right word. I usually don't judge a writer on the why's or what's of their story, after all it's their story, with their characters and to me things don't always have to make logical sense, but boredom was included in this - off and on. Parts were interesting and parts were seriously blahhed.
Which meant that I could - with a totally clear book-reading conciense go to Redemption Alley, which I am
reading - reading for Just For Fun Challenge
It's been on my TBR pile for over two years, since 2009 I think...wow. just wow.
So now that the series has officially ENDED, I have the whole rest of the series here, waiting for me to dive into. I read the first two, time for the third.
After finishing Redemption Alley, I might read
Rivers of London
it's one of the books that I received from a friend in the last two weeks. I received another book from another friend, but I haven't downloaded the cover, and right now, my brain isn't working. I can't remember if I had the first and she sent me the second, or I had the second and she sent me the first. The pleasures of having a perimenopausal brain - wreaks havoc with the memory.

Also - my apologies, a lately remembered post also means post without an LOL cat. Really, the only reason I was able to do this entry, was because I happened to start the post while posting the other night and saved it to drafts.....
Okay ladies and possible men readers - have a good Monday!
Thanks for posting and catching us up :-D Happy New Year!
