Chocolate Cravings

(my second LOLcat caption, photo from LOL cat)

I love chocolate; I love it a lot. Chocolate should be it's own food group. However, though I love chocolate quite a bit, I rarely indulge. In fact, for my birthday, I was given a two pound box of See's chocolate covered caramels, and the lasted until October (my b-day was in July). The only thing that's on a par with chocolate is a good caramel, and when you mix the two....heavenly. I wasn't even the only one eating them, my grandson "shared" them with me. :)

Two weeks ago, I was shopping and suddenly felt like having a Butterfinger. So I bought a bar....put it up and promptly forgot about it. Never ate it. Forgot about it ....until three days ago.

I began having intense cravings for something chocolatey....now I have a Milky Way that's been sitting in a purse for quite a few months...haven't felt like eating it though. Nope. I wanted that Butterfinger.

Could not find it. I looked all over, high and low. In my sock drawer, in my shirt drawer. In my bookshelves and in all the little nooks and crannies I could think of. No Butterfinger.

These cravings would (of course) go away during the day, when I had a chance to go to the store, and come back full blast at about 11 p.m., when it's inconvenient to just go get a chocolate bar (and let's face it, a little bit weird). So I just continued searching, occasionally asking if any one had seen my Butterfinger.

This morning as I'm blearily trying to wake up, my youngest son (22...or is he 23? one forgets these things) comes into my room on his work break with a KING SIZED BUTTERFINGER.

That's love, folks. True love from a considerate, sweet son (who knows what it means when a woman gets a CHOCOLATE CRAVING).

Tonight, right about midnight.....I ate half of that king sized Butterfinger.

Soooooo Gooooood

Thanks youngest son!
