It's Monday,What are You Reading is hosted by Sheila of Book Journey...
It's that time of the week again...Monday. It is the last Monday of my work year, since I'm a school year employee. My next work Monday will be in August...long enough for me to get rested up and get some spirit and energy back.
I'm highly irritated with both browsers (internet) AND blogger right now, so as soon as I'm through with posting at my uncomfortable chair, at the desk computer, I'm running (or y'know, stiffly walking) over to my couch and kicking back with my laptop to play a bit of cityville. Don't get the wrong idea, I'm not rich here with two computers...one is six years old (new harddrive) and a benefit of my workman's comp injury to help me get through school an retraining and the laptop was a very sweet gift from my oldest son. There is no way that I ever would have been able to get either of these computers on my own...and after having my upper body basically changed for life, I deserve at least a computer.... (wow - don't mean to sound bitter, really...at least I get to work with children, which is very uplifting)
This is going to be pictureless because I'm having issues with the browser/internet/blogger thing.
Currently I'm reading
Saving CeeCee Honeycutt (a late mother's day gift)
and finishing up (somewhere) A Spirit Thief
I didn't actually FINISH any novels...
I'm slowly reading a vew e-books though....
Wild (Naomi Clarke)
Doc the Vampire Hunting Dog (J.A. Campbell)
Silver Rush (J.A. Campbell)
I'm telling you, people....it's been a rough week as far as....being organized (horrible at it)
sticking with one book (terrible at this)
getting anything else done but the bare minimum....Something is seriously wrong with me...I can't seem to get anything finished....laundry is piling up (don't really care about it as long a I have a few clean clothes to wear)
dust is coating my knick knacks....(I care, but can't get myself to do anything about this)
Books are literally ALL OVER MY HOUSE....
I'm feeling a little overwhelmed....
On the plus side, I do have a ten week vacation coming up (unfortunately it's unpaid) where I might be able to slowly get myself back on track....it's just that it takes so damned long every morning to get OUT of the worst of my pain...(whining again, not trying to, just explainin part of what's wrong with me) that by the time I'm halfway comfortable everyone else has gone to bed. Too late to do laundry or clean my room....sigh....LOL, of course, then I can not do any housework. :)
10 weeks coming up to get myself....halfway back on track. :)
looking forward to it.
