ummmm

I was going to write a good friday, feel good post....
I was thinking about writing a review for Spin State
I was trying to finish a book I just received from an online friend...
Then I realized that it's already 2:31 a.m.
and
I've had to spend so much time on the computer doing "paperwork" for this year's afterschool program...
and
I'm also too tired to think up smart things to say about Spin State at the moment...
and
while I'm enjoying reading Glory...
I just realized that the end of August is coming up and I had signed up to read at least one GBLT (I might have the letters in the wrong order, GLBT?) book for a challenge
and
I still need to open the book I picked out to read, yet I have another book I want to read for the challenge....
and
bottom line is I'm exhausted, so maybe tomorrow night I'll write one Good Friday or rather, Feel Good Friday post, and then I'll sit back and concentrate on reading...
If I sit still I could read Glory in one day, then I could start on the other book...
I feel a case of B.A.D.D. coming on!
:)

  1. Ummm, how many times have I sat and said get busy Jackie you have accomplished nothing? Too many to count.... However, you have at some point "gone" very black and blue on me over here and since read the post prior to this one I true love cobalt blue and some of my most favorite dishes have now been battered beyond recognition no thanks to my DH but my lovely Mom.. She likes to use my White Corning Ware bowls of all sizes and they were just kind of sitting in the cabinet for years prior to her living in the house with me... Maybe I should be thankful for the fact she is living in the house with me and not worry about the silly dishes, right?

    Have a good weekend...

  2. LOL - its a mixed blessing! I love having my son live with us. We get to see HIS son that way, and the house always feels full and comfortable. But I really want to be the only one (selfishly) to use my cobalt blue bowls and glasses. Of course, I think that he might really like this color also - and I know there are worse things to worry about (like the aiming problems with men and toilets...) but you know....beautiful blue - cobalt blue - AHHHHH. I need to just buy myself some new (or used) blue items. dishes, blue bakeware (two casserole dishes have disappeared, blue ones) blue cups and glasses. And the man and his wonderful girlfriend DID buy me a cute little glass Milk of Magnesia bottle. Remember those? They are very beautifully blue glass. :)
