Another mystery book

I finally figured out how I ended up with Truly, Madly. I won it from Goodreads. During my e-mail organization, I found the e-mail telling me I was getting a copy of Truly Madly.

Now, I have just received a book by delivery. This I also do not remember winning from anywhere. It's called Daniel X Watch the Skies, written by James Patterson & Ned Rust. My first thought was oh no, I don't read James Patterson. Then I opened it up and read the prologue. Okay, it's about aliens (outer space aliens). I read the first page of the first chapter. First person narrative and about aliens. I could get into this book. Now I'm glad I have it, even though I don't know why I have it.

Did I win it?
Did someone at hachette book group just decide to send it?
I wish I could remember, if I forgot that I won it - so I can thank someone.

At any rate, since this is young adult, and about aliens this will help for two of my challenges. And I'm definitely not going to "look this gift horse in the mouth". :) As a bonus, if it's good for middle grade students, after I read it, it can go into the school library.

  1. Ohh I really enjoy Patterson, and this one sound very interesting. If you like it I would highly recommend his Maximum Ride series about genetically altered kids. Max is a strong female protagonist and the other characters are all really unique and colorful.

I also want to thank you for stopping by and leaving a comment onmy blog. Made me smile. Thanks
