Monday, Monday, Monday - yup - it's Monday, all right!

I'm sure you've noticed....It's Monday again. I spent the last few days fighting some illness, my husband became very sick again - I'm thanking my lucky stars that I didn't get as sick as my husband did. Hopefully I'm on the mend - either I'm on the mend, or those pain pills I take are making me feel better than I would be feeling without them. Thankful for small favors like that! :)

We had a small and quiet Easter day. Hope everyone had a nice day. Whether it was huge and crazy fun or quiet and fairly relaxed like ours -

Happy Easter!

spring is on its way
It's Monday, What Are You Reading? is that very fun weekly bookblog meme hosted by Sheila of Book Journey. full guidelines are available at Book Journey - but the basics are we share with others what we've been reading, what we've read and sometimes what we've been planning to read

**Remember - whenever I can I link excerpts to the book covers, so you can get a taste of the book, if interested. When I can't find an excerpt I just put a link to the author's website or Goodreads.**

Plague Town is the one novel that I was able to finish reading this past week. Dana Fredsti's Plague Town is a very fun to read zombie book.
I've been reading the following novels...in fact, I was a third of the way through Chaos Space when I focused on Plague Town. I've read a couple of the shorts in Armored, I'm enjoying Chaos Space and once I got past the first couple chapters of Kindling Moon I found it more interesting. Kindling Moon is one of those books that started out very strong for me, but lost my interest within the next few chapters....but I recently picked it back up and got past that point. Now it's getting interesting again.

What is coming up? Who knows - I've just about given up trying to plan what I'm going to read....it always changes anyway.

However, it'll be one of these; believe me, this is just a small sample of the books I've been buying so they can commune with each other on my shelves

The following LOL cat is a homegrown pic - I actually took this pic, and captioned it.

The bearded one is my oldest son, the kitty is one they had for a short time until they decided she would be better off with people who had more time for her - she was prematurely away from mom - the mom died and three kitties were rescued. homes were found for all of them, and they're doing great. As you can see from the pic, this kitty would look in any fuzzy or hairy spot for milk. :) I was sad they gave the kitty away, but I applaud them for their self-honesty. They knew she would be better off somewhere else, so they made sure she was in a home with people who had the time for her.

  4. I admire that you can read so many at once, my mind doesn't work quite that way and I get the stories confused! Hope you enjoy your books this week :)

  9. Sorry to hear you've been sick, hope this week you & hubby are feeling much better. Graveminder is popular at the moment and Plague Town caught my eye. I'm quite fond of zombie reads and combined with humour it sounds like a winning combination :)
Have a great week and happy reading!
