Monday - what are you reading?

Here it is again...Monday!

therefore, here is a Monday Meme, Hosted by Sheila of Book Journey.

Thank goodness this Monday is a holiday! So it's not as horrible as most Mondays to me. :)

I haven't been a reading whiz lately, but this weekend I did manage to finish reading Zoo City by Lauren Beukes.

So glad I read it.

Instead of going back to one of the other books that I had started reading, I started reading Lauren Beukes' first book, MoxyLand - which is one of those books that I kept picking up and putting back in the bookstore. I finally bought it, when I saw Zoo City on the shelves. For some odd reason I read Zoo City first...but now I'm about halfway through MoxyLand, which is science fiction where Zoo City is Urban Fantasy.

Makes me wonder what Ms Beukes is going to write next.

As for what else is up for reading....Not sure. There are so many books here in my house waiting for me to read - and some of them from my favorite new authors of 2010. Kelly Gay, Kelly Meding, etc. I have to say that I'm pretty lucky that I have so many books waiting for me. And maybe I can focus on reading again.
